DAVIS, Calif. - Complete Results

The California Golden Bear women's gymnastics was topped by UC Davis in a dual meet in Davis on Sunday. The Bears earned a total score of 191.500 while the Davis Aggies amassed a 194.050.

Sophomore Madisyn O'Brien had Cal's top score on the vault, earning a 9.650. Sophomore Chelsea Spomer scored a 9.625.

The Bears had two gymnasts score a 9.7 or above on the bars. Freshman Dallas Crawford had another strong performance, earning Cal's top mark in the event, a 9.775. Sophomore Mariesah Pierce scored a 9.700.

The Bears had a strong turn on the beam, earning a team total of 48.125. Nikki Lew and Mariesah Pierce both scored 9.750's for their routines.

The floor was once again Cal's strongest event, with the team totaling 48.500 points. Mariesah Pierce earned Cal's top mark of the meet, a 9.825. Senior Avery Gee scored a 9.725.

Pierce was Cal's top all-arounder with a total of 38.750. Madisyn O'Brien also competed in the all-around, earning 37.725 points.

The Bears have a bye week next week. They return to action on Sunday, March 6 when they compete in their final home meet of the season. The meet will be both an alumni meet and senior day. The action begins at 2 pm at Haas Pavilion. Admission to the meet is free.
