2009: Qualified as an at-large competitor for the NCAA West Regionals in the floor exercise, scoring a 9.750 to finish 27th in the event...was second alternate for the all-around at the West Regional, but a space for her did not open up so she did not compete...finished regular season with a regional qualifying average of 9.815 on the floor, tying her for 18th among the West Region's gymnasts... had five marks of 9.800 or higher for her floor routines...scored three event career-high marks and a career-best all-around score at UCLA with a 9.675 on the vault, 9.550 on the bars, and a 9.800 on the beam...followed that performance the next week with a career-best 9.850 on the floor...duplicated her 9.850 score for the floor in the Stanford meet, matching Stephanie Cheng for the highest mark in the event during the season for the Bears...closed out the regular season with a third place finish on the floor, rating a 9.825 at the Sacramento State quad meet.
2008: Took second on beam with a score of 9.775 in the tri-meet against UC Davis and Towson...at Arizona and at Stanford, posted a 9.825 on floor...tallied marks of 9.750 on floor against Oregon State, the Senior Day quad meet and at Boise State...tallied a 9.700 on floor at the Cat Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed on Airborne club team with fellow freshman Stefanie Cheng, coached by Mel Ruggiero and Justin Howell...team won the 2006 junior national championship and was second in the state championships in 2006 and 2005...named Most Valuable Gymnast in 2006...at the 2007 Western Nationals, was first in the all-around, vault and beam...won the 4.0 award in high school.
PERSONAL: Born March 13, 1989, in Palo Alto, Calif....daughter of Albert and Nora Gee, both of whom are Cal graduates...lists playing with a Rubik's Cube as a hobby...wants to attend grad school...Cognitive Science major.
