Career Statistics

As a FRESHMAN in 2011, earned a trip to the NCAA West Regional, competing as an at-large individual in the All-Around... at Regionals, she earned a 9.800 on her vault, tying for seventh in the event (out of 41 competitors) - the mark was the top score by a Bear this season on the vault...earned a 9.625 on the bars, 9.125 on the beam, and a career-best 9.850 on the floor (11th place, third-highest floor score of the season for the Bears), totaling 38.400 points in the all-around, finishing 12th at Regionals...won her first collegiate all-around in the Sacramento State meet (Feb. 6), earning a score of 38.800...also tied for first in the vault against Sac Stae with a 9.700...posted her season-best score of 9.700 on the bars at the Sac State meet...scored 9.500 or higher on every vault this season.

High School/Club: Was named the Technique Gymnast of the Year and 2009 MVP... National Qualifier in 2007, 2008, and 2009... was the 2008 State Champion in vault... in 2009, was second on beam, third in vault and floor and second in the all-around at Regionals... was fifth on the vault at Nationals in 2009.

Personal Born May 27, 1992 in San Jose, Calif... parents are Johanna and Rick Asturias...thinking of becoming an orthopedic surgeon or a sport psychologist...wants to major in psychology.
