CLEVELAND, Ohio - Emily Childs fell in her round of 64 match to Jayvie Marie Agojo of the Philippines, losing 1 down after 18 holes.

After posting a +3 through 36 holes of stroke play to qualify for the match play tournament, Childs fell just short of advancing to the next round. She was down two holes at the turn, but beat Agojo on holes 10 and 11 to square up the match. After falling back again, she pulled even with a birdie at the 15th, however, a bogey on the par-4 18^th proved her undoing after Agojo parred the hole.

Carly Childs also participated in the stroke-play portion of the tournament, but failed to qualify for the match play section. She finished at +18 (78-84, 162).
