CLEVELAND, Ohio - Emily Childs shot a +3 (72-75, 147) through 36 holes at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and qualified for match play.

The tournament held at the Country Club in Cleveland, Ohio continues through Sunday as a match play event. A 36-hole match will determine the winner on Sunday, Aug. 12.

Childs faces Jayvie Marie Agojo of the Philippines in her round of 64 match. The two tee off at 7:20 p.m.

Carly Childs also participated in the stroke-play portion of the tournament, but failed to qualify for the match play section. She finished at +18 (78-84, 162).
