BERKELEY - The Seniors | Team Video: Preparing for the Big Game

The No. 12 California Golden Bears plays the final home game of the regular season, taking on the No. 9 Stanford Cardinal on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. at Maxwell Family Field.

The Cardinal (11-2, 4-0 NorPac) hold a one-game advantage over the Bears (12-2, 3-1 NorPac) in the conference standings. The Cardinal won the first matchup of the season, 3-2, when the teams played in September at Stanford.

Cal is 5-1 this season against teams ranked in the top-20, their lone loss coming to a then-ranked No. 8 Stanford earlier this season.

Prior to the start of the game, the Bears will honor their four departing seniors. Forward Megan Shimojima, midfielder Jessica Kreck, defender Erin Magill, and goalkeeper Maddie Hand will be recognized before the game.

Cal head coach Shellie Onstead looks to win her 200th career game on Sunday. Onstead has a career record of 199-108, with all of those victories coming in her 17 seasons as the head coach of the Golden Bears.

Admission is free for all Cal Field Hockey games.
