CalBears.com: Do you have any nicknames?
Annalien Davin b> My nickname is Lina but people in the States call me Leena.
CalBears.com: What is the most surprising thing about college?
AD: How much work you have to do.
CalBears.com: What is your favorite spot at Cal?
AD: The Lawrence Hall of Science because I like the view from up there.
CalBears.com: What made you decide to come to Cal?
AD: The mixtures between great athletics and academics.
CalBears.com: What do you miss most about Namibia?
AD: My family, friends, dog and spending long days at the beach.
CalBears.com: What is your favorite part about Cal field hockey?
AD: The teammates I have met are the best thing about Cal field hockey.
CalBears.com: What made you start playing field hockey?
AD: My mom and sisters played field hockey and I fell in love with watching it as a little girl and then just followed in the family sport.
CalBears.com: When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
AD: I wanted to be a beach bum.
CalBears.com: You're having dinner with three people, alive or dead. Who are they?b>
AD: My two sisters and Nelson Mandela.
CalBears.com: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?b>
AD: I would buy plane tickets and travel the world.
