Next up is Joelle van Hoorn 5-8 goalie from Vught, the Netherlands.
CalBears.com: What has surprised you most about college?
Joelle van Hoorn: The nice weather and relaxed people.
CalBears.com: Do you have any nicknames?
JH: Jo or Jojo.
CalBears.com: What made you come to Cal?
JH: The quest for new adventures and great experiences!
CalBears.com: Where is your favorite spot on campus?
JH: The International House is wonderful.
CalBears.com: What are you most proud of?
JH: My international debut in the Europacup in 2011 and winning the Dutch
National Championships with my team in 2010.
CalBears.com: Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?
JH: None, unless daydreaming is a talent!
CalBears.com: Do you have a pregame ritual?
JH: I always chew gum.
CalBears.com: What do you miss about the Netherlands?
JH: Dutch cheese and my family!
CalBears.com: You are stranded on a deserted island with three movies, what are they?
JH: Notting Hill, Into the Wild, and Finding Neverland.
CalBears.com: What superpower would you most like to have?
JH: I would really like to be able to fly.
