Senior forward Megan Shimojima was named the NorPac West Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four goals in the Bears victory over Pacific. This is the second week in a row that a Cal player has earned NorPac honors.

Shimojima scored the first of Cal's 10 goals on Saturday in the Bears NorPac opener at Pacific. She added two more in the first half and another in the second half, scoring all four goals on just four shots.

This is the second time in Shimojima's career that she has been named the NorPac player of the week. She also earned the honor in the 2009 season.

This is the second week in a row that a Golden Bear has been named the NorPac Offensive Player of the Week. Sophomore forward Jordan O'Reilly earned co-Offensive Player of the Week honors last week for her efforts in helping lead the Bears to a pair of road wins over top-20 ranked teams.
