Field Hockey Falls to James Madison

NORFOLK, Va. - In a neutral site game at Old Dominion's Foreman Field, James Madison blanked Cal, 4-0, Friday night. The Dukes improved to 12-3 while the Golden Bears fell to 5-6.

Julie Martinez scored what proved to be the gamewinner on a penalty stroke at the 7:33 minute mark of the first half. Martinez netted another goal to give James Madison the 2-0 lift at the intermission.

California will take on Old Dominion Sunday afternoon
