6 v 6 Field Hockey Clinics and Tournaments

The California Golden Bears will be hosting two 6 v 6 clinics and tournaments this year. The U-16 tournament and clinic will be held on Saturday, March 10 with the U-19 tournament and clinic being held on Sunday, March 11.

Three Bears Earn West Region Honors

2011 NorPac West Offensive Player of the Year and co-Player of the Year Andrea Earle earned another honor, being named to the 2011 Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-West Region First Team. Sophomore midfielder Shannon Elmitt and freshman forward Lara Kruggel both earned second team honors.

Andrea Earle: Third Team All-American

Sophomore Andrea Earle became the 11th player in California Field Hockey history to earn All-American honors when she was named to the 2011 Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-American Third Team.

No. 11 California's Season Ends at Play-In Game

The California Golden Bears fell, 2-0, to the Atlantic-10 Champion Richmond Spiders at the NCAA Play-In game in Berkeley, ending Cal's 2011 season.
