California: 2008 (Freshman) Rowed on the varsity 8+ that took fourth place at the NCAA Championships and won the Pac-10 championship...named the Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year.
Personal: Undeclared but wants to study public health or nutrition...rowed for two years with San Diego Rowing Club... also played soccer in high school... parents are Sandy Jeghers and Kathleen Guiney...has two older brothers, John and Jimmy...born Oct. 28, 1988, in San Diego, Calif.
