Personal: Undeclared major; intended public health major...swam for 11 years and throughout high school as well freshman year, when she was a member of the Cal women's swimming team...competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2004...has a brother, Dylan...parents are Bill and Vyvian Heath.

The best part about being on Cal crew is: The enormous amount of encouragement throughout the entire team. Everyone is always pushing each other to go that little bit extra.
The best part about the University is: There is something for everyone. No matter what your hobbies might be or the topics that interest you, there is always a class, club or group that you can involve yourself in.
My greatest achievement/finest moment was: Just recently when I coached a swim team over the summer. I have never gotten so many hugs and pictures from adoring kids.
I chose Cal because: Of the amount of pride that everyone holds here. Students, faculty and staff are all proud to be Golden Bears, and that is neat to see and something that I wanted to be a part of.
What sets Cal apart: That it seems to be its own family. When I walk down the street with a Cal shirt on,there is always seems to be someone that yells "Go Bears!" It's a great feeling to know that you are a part of a special community.
