Ever wonder what a Cal women's basketball player typically does on game day? Here's my account of what my days were like before the Nevada and Canisius games.

On Friday, Dec. 19 I woke up to the sound of my alarm set at 7:30 a.m. I got dressed and combed my hair and put on my cross trainers. I then walked my dog, Chance, to the park and let him run around. We played fetch for about 20 minutes, and then we walked back to my apartment.

I got home about 8:45 a.m. I then fixed myself a bowl of Count Chocula and an English Muffin. I then got a ride from my sister for a 9:30 a.m. appointment at the Tang Center. My appointment ended at 10:15 a.m., and then I went Christmas shopping with my sister. I then had an 11 a.m. physical therapy appointment. My appointment ended at 11:30 a.m. I then relaxed in the team locker room for an hour and a half listening to my mix tape. At 1:15 p.m., I went to the training room and got taped up. I then got ready and stretched out for the team shoot around at 2:00 p.m.

After shoot around, the team ate training table at 3 p.m. At 4 p.m., I met up with my family at La Vals and played pool and video games. I then left at 5: p.m. and went back to Haas Pavilion. At 5:20 p.m., I went to the training room and got taped up. At 5:50 p.m., I went to the court and stretched out with the team. At 6:20, the team went to the locker room for a meeting with Coach H. At 6:35 p.m., we began warming up on the court. At 7:00 p.m., the game vs. Nevada began.

Sunday morning, Dec. 21, I woke up at 6:45 a.m. and got ready. I had a cinnamon raisin bagel that I ate while I was walking my dog around for about 30 minutes. I got a ride from my sister to Haas. I got dressed for shoot around and went to the training room at 8:15 a.m. to get taped up. I went to shoot around at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., I went to pre-game training table and had potatoes, eggs, sausage and blueberry pancakes. I then went back to my apartment with my teammate, Julia Numair. We watched football and basketball games for about two hours. We went back to Haas at 12:20 p.m. I went to the training room and got taped up at 12:30 p.m. At 1 p.m., I went to the court and stretched with the team. At 1:20 p.m., the team went to the locker room for a meeting with Coach H. At 1:35 p.m., the team went back to the court for warm-ups. The game vs. Canisius began at 2 p.m. Once again, our fans have been a contributing factor in our wins against Nevada and Canisius.

For the holidays, our team decided to get together at Tahsha's place. We plan on having a gift exchange and small feast to celebrate the holiday season and bring about a greater team spirit.
