BERKELEY - The California Golden Bears season opener against Rutgers has been picked up for a live television broadcast by Comcast. Inside the Bay Area, the game will be seen on Comcast California. Outside the Bay Area, it will be carried on Comcast's Plus Channel.

The Bears will now be on TV at least six times this season. Their next telecast will be their road game at Texas A&M. Both games against Stanford and both their home and road contests against Washington State will also be televised, though the road game at WSU will only be available on Fox Sports Northwest.

The Rutgers game tips at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are still available with general admission tickets for all youth 12th grade and younger free for this game.
