BERKELEY, Calif. - The California athletic department has established a Golden Bear women's basketball scholarship in Alisa Lewis' name. The announcement was made at Lewis' memorial service at Haas Pavilion yesterday.

To make donations to the scholarship, send checks to the Cal Bear Backers Office made out to UC Regents. The address is 2223 Fulton Street, 3rd Floor Berkeley, CA 94720. For more information, please call the Bear Backers' Office at 642-2427.

Approximately 1000 people attended the memorial service, including Stanford head women's basketball head coach Tara VanDerveer and Washington women's basketball head coach June Daugherty.
