January 19, 2009 BERKELEY - Alexis Gray-Lawson scored 37 points, including a key go-ahead field goal with just over a minute left and a pair of late free throws down the stretch, to snap a string of 14-straight victories by the Cardinal women's basketball team at Haas Pavilion, making her the Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week. The 37 points by the Gray-Lawson was the second-highest single-game total by a Pac-10 player so far this season and the first time since 1987 that a Cal women's basketball played scored more than 35 points in a game. The junior guard is one of just eight players in NCAA Division I to score 37 or more points in a game this season. Muscle Milk California Student-Athletes of the Week
