California broke a 12-year old school record for rebounds in a game with 66 (27O-39D) Friday night. The 66 rebounds surpasses the record of 64 set twice - vs Washington (Jan. 29, 2000) and vs UTEP (Nov. 20, 1983).
The Bears improve to 6-0 for the first time since the 2008-09 NCAA Sweet 16 team began the year 7-0
California committed more turnovers than the opponent for the first time this season (25-to-13) despite both teams registering eight steals each.
California failed to score 80 points for the second time this season in the 63-47 victory.
After the Monarchs closed to within four points (51-47), the Bears held Old Dominion scoreless over the final 8:24 of the game by closing out on a 12-0 run.
