Opening Statement
"I'm disappointed in the outcome of the game and how we performed. I give total credit to Stanford. They're playing some great basketball right now. We didn't compete tonight. I'm sure there are a lot of reasons. We can analyze the film."
On whether her team was tired
"Honestly, I didn't feel that way. I thought there were moments where we had to give people breaks. I didn't feel people were winded."
On the shots not falling
"You always think the shots are going to fall, and sometimes you have a bad half. I thought we got good looks early to Ashley (Walker) and Devanei (Hampton). If you hit those first two shots of the game, you relax in a championship game. That didn't happen. And, they scored their first two (possessions). It was just about buckling down and regrouping, and I thought we did a much better job in the second half. They hit tough shots. They were on. I was racking my brain to try to figure out how to put us in position to score."
On NCAA seeding
"I hope we get rewarded for being in the final. It depends on what other conferences do. The Big 12 is still out there, the Big East. There's still a lot of basketball to be played. I hope we can be a two, but even more important is to be close to home. I'd love to be here (at Stanford) for fan support. That's been a struggle for the NCAA to get fans in the first round. Hopefully, they look at us getting into the championship game and put us close to home."

On the disappointment of losing tonight vs. losing the close game in Berkeley
"The one we lost at home we were there. To not even be in this game was a lot tougher for us because we know what we're capable of doing. When we don't step up to the plate and play like we know we possibly can, that's probably more disappointing to us than knowing we played a really great game at Cal and came up short. We didn't convert at the end. Today is more disappointing because it's a championship game. That's why we all come to different schools. We all sign with schools to win championships."
