#2 California (58) vs #3 UCLA (70) - Post Game Notes TEAM NOTES All three of California's losses this season have come to teams ranked in the AP Top 15 (#4 Duke, #5 Stanford, #15 UCLA) California moved it's all-time conference tournament record to 12-13 and 0-4 vs UCLA. California has now trailed at the half for just the fifth time in 31 games this season with its (35-14) deficit against UCLA, and the Bears are () in those games. The Bears did not lead against Duke (trailed, lost), Oregon State at home (trailed, won) or in either game against Colorado (1st Meeting - tied, won; 2nd Meeting - trailed, won). The 14 points scored at halftime were a season-low for a half, taking over from the 18 points scored in the first half against Oregon State on Feb. 24 in Berkeley. The Bears trailed by as many as 22 in the first half (33-11, 1:32) and 26 in the second half (45-19, 16:00). The Bears endured a seven-minute first half scoreless drought from 9:53 to 2:53 to allow UCLA to score 13 unanswered points and build its lead from 16-8 to 29-8. California was out-rebounded for just the second time this season, the other comming in the Bears' loss at then-No. 4 Duke. The Bears shot a season-low .295 from the field (18-of-61).
