Washington used an 18-10 rebound edge offensively, 41-32 overall, to keep Cal off balance throughout the night. Patrycja Czepiec led all scorers with 19 points and Jennie Leander chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bears. Cal (7-9 overall, 2-5 Pac-10) dug itself a hole in the first half by shooting only 32 percent from the field, compared to 40 percent for Washington.
