Slovan Bratislava defeats Cal in Exhibition Game, 66-60

BERKELEY, CA -- Patrycja Czepiec and Jennie Leander scored 13 points each for Cal but it wasn't enough to hold off Slovan Bratislava in Cal's second exhibition game of the season. Slovan defeated Cal, 66-60, Friday in Harmon Gym.

Cal led at the half, 38-36, but Slovan outscored the Bears, 30-22 in the second half. Slovan shot 48.3% from the field (28--58), while Cal managed just 38.5% (20-52).

Slovan was led by the 27 points of Milena Razgova. Leander led the Bears with 15 rebounds and Czepiec grabbed 8 rebounds.

The Bears open the regular season November 23-24 at the Dial Classic at Old Dominion University.
