California junior John Mann has been named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation first team for a second consecutive year. Juniors Andrija Vasiljevic and Marty Matthies earned second team All-MPSF honors. Senior goalie Nate Bennett received third team All-MPSF honors and Sophomore Michael Sharf was honorable mention All-MPSF.

Mann led the No. 3-ranked Bears (21-7) in scoring this season with 56 goals, scoring in 23 of the 26 games in which he appeared. He is currently fifth in the MPSF with 2.15 goals per game and recorded four goals or more in a match four times this season and five goals in a match once. Mann was also named to the 2005 MPSF Championship All-Tournament team after scoring five goals in three games. He was the Oct. 4 MPSF Player of the Week after leading the bears to three victories and scoring four goals in the 9-5 Cal victory over Stanford. Mann now has 138 career goals after recording 60 goals last season as a sophomore and 22 goals as a freshman.

Vasiljevic finished the 2005 campaign with 28 goals in 27 matches, while Matthies had 19 goals in 24 matches. Vasiljevic scored three or more goals three times including five goals against UCLA in the first round of the 2005 MPSF Tournament. Vasiljevic was named third team All-MPSF last year and this is Matthies first such honor.

Bennett also had outstanding 2005 campaign for the Bears recording 211 saves in 28 matches and had 26 saves in last weekend's MPSF Tournament at USC. He was also the Oct. 25 MPSF Player of the Week after recording a career high 20 saves in the Bears' 9-2 conference victory over UC Irvine. He was named MPSF honorable mention for last year.

Sharf was second in scoring for the Bears with 31 goals in 27 matches. He scored three goals on four occasions this season, including Cal's losses to top-ranked USC on Oct. 16 and Nov. 12. Sharf has scored 53 goals in two seasons with the Bears including 22 goals last season as a freshman.
