Planned Facility to Benefit Cal Aquatics Programs

In order to enhance the training environment for the Golden Bears' nationally ranked swimming & diving and water polo programs, a privately funded new facility is being considered to be built along Bancroft Way adjacent to the Tang Center.

Cal MWP Has 10 All-Academic Honorees

Collin Smith Named First-Team All-American

Video Highlights of Cal's Big Splash Win | Feature on Cal Olympian Aleksa Saponjic | Led by first-team All-American Collin Smith, the 2012 California Men's Water Polo Team (17-8, 5-3 in the MPSF) had six players named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America team, it was announced Jan. 29 by the ACWPC.

Cal MWP Has 12 Players Earn MPSF All-Academic

Video Highlights of Cal's Big Splash Win | Feature on Cal Olympian Aleksa Saponjic | Proving they perform at a high level whether it is in the pool or in the classroom, the Cal men's water polo program had 12 players earn 2012 MPSF All-Academic honors. The Bears' 12 academic honorees were the most academic award winners of any of the schools in the MPSF.
