BERKELEY - The California men's and women's tennis teams will take part in the Youth Tennis Advantage 2012 Big Hitters event slated for Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. at the Bay Club San Francisco Tennis courts.

Bay Club SF Tennis is located at 645 Fifth Street in San Francisco.

The YTA is a non-profit organization that promotes youth tennis in the San Francisco Bay Area. All proceeds from the event will go to the YTA and help fund YTA tennis and academic programs. The YTA was originally founded by Arthur Ashe to encourage and develop scholar-athletes through tennis.

Registration is open to everyone for this friendly event; all levels of players are welcome. Participants will have the opportunity to play in doubles matches, on court games, and learn from players on the Cal men's and women's tennis teams.

This is a once in a lifetime chance to play with some of the best collegiate tennis players in the Bay Area and the country.
