SAN FRANCISCO - The California men's tennis doubles team of freshman Chase Melton and senior Tommie Murphy fell, 8-2, to Stanford's duo of Walker Kehrer and Robert Stineman in the semifinal of the 2011 Battle in the Bay Classic at the California Tennis Club on Sat., Oct. 15.

The Golden Bears wrap up play at the annual tourney in the city and look ahead to the 2011 USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships in Seattle from Friday-Sunday (Oct. 21-25).
