ATHENS, Ga. - California junior Pierre Mouillon lost in the second round of the NCAA Singles Tournament Thursday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. No. 26 Mouillon was defeated by No. 12 Travis Helgeson from host Georgia, 6-3, 6-4.

In the first set, Mouillon jumped out to a 3-1 lead before Helgeson came back to win the next five games in a row to snag the opening set. The Bulldog gained the upper hand early in the second set, as Helgeson grabbed a 3-1 lead. Mouillon rebounded to tie the set at three, but Helgeson pulled out the 6-4 win.

Mouillon's season ends with a final overall singles record of 28-16. He led the Golden Bears all season, consistently ranked in the Top 30 in singles for most of the season and he earned first team All-Pac-10 honors.
