Cougars Sneak Past Bears, 5-2

BERKELEY, Calif. - BYU took four out of six singles matches en route to a 5-2 victory over Cal today at the Hellman Tennis Center.

Nathan Jackman, a 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 winner over Dan Battistone, and Minh Le, a 7-5, 6-4 winner over Damien Ward, picked up the only singles wins for the Golden Bears.

The Cougars also swept all three of the doubles matches against Cal.

The Golden Bears continue their current homestand this weekend with matches against Arizona State and Arizona (Mar. 28-29).
