California sophomore Tyler Pullen performed well at the Pac-12 Men's and Women's Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. On Friday (Feb. 24) Pullen placed fifth on the one-meter board with a score of 309.35 after qualifying for the finals with a mark of 296.75 in the prelims.

On Thursday (Feb. 23), Pullen (Pleasanton, Calif.) made the finals of the three-meter competition with a score of 289.40 to place eighth. He had a score of 329.35 in the prelims. Finally on Sunday (Feb. 25) Pullen barely missed qualifying for the finals in the platform, placing ninth with a score of 260.25.

Earlier this season, Pullen captured the one-meter board (308.93) in the Bears' Oct. 21 dual meet versus Utah.

The other Cal diver competing in the Pac-12 Diving Championships was freshman Thomas Selby (Menlo Park, Calif.), who was 14th in the one-meter competition (226.75), 15th on the three-meter board (224.30) and was 11th on the platform Sunday with a score of 213.15.
