Why Cal?
Cal is famous for its education and also because of sports - the Cal team has proven itself in the NCAA Championships, and that is why I decided to come here.

Name a favorite thing at Cal that you can't find at home.
The whole team is great, I love competing against my teammates and because there are so many guys, you never get bored. That is something that I didn't have at home.

Name a thing you miss the most.
Family.

What do you think makes Cal unique and distinct from any other school?
Everyone sticks together even if there are so many different kinds of people. The campus makes you feel like you are at home and also everyone is kind to you.

How is training at Cal different from how it was back home?
The team is much larger, we have more swimming coaches along with a great strength and conditioning coach. Also, the teammates are constantly supporting each other and along with the coaches make you go faster and push yourself to the limits. It is much more FUN!

What is your favorite memory from your time at Cal?
My favorite memory at Cal so far is the honoring of all 2008 Olympians when we had a great lunch, after which we could go watch the football game at the VIP zone with all the distinguished guests, and finally brought down to be introduced to the fans.
