International Success
Competed for Slovenia in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, taking 16th (1:00.92) in the 100-meter breaststroke
Placed second for Slovenia at the 2006 European Junior Championships in the 50-meter breast
Cal Success
In the 2007-08 season, set a Cal record in the 100-yard breaststroke when he swam a 52.50 in the preliminary round and eventually took second in the final at the NCAA Championships
Also at NCAAs contributed to school records in the 200-medley relay (1:24.50, 3rd place) and 400-medley relay (3:05.38, 2nd place)
Took 16th in the 200 breaststroke in 1:58.88; his 1:56.41 in the prelim was Cal's third-fastest time in the 200 breast last season
In the 2008 Pac-10 Championships, took second in the 100 breaststroke, and swam the breaststroke legs to help Cal capture conference titles in the 200- and 400-medley relays
