BERKELEY - California's Alec Sundly claimed spots on the College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer Teams of the Week for scoring the first two goals of his college career in the Golden Bears' Pac-10 title clinching, 3-2 win over Stanford on Nov. 11, both college soccer websites announced on Monday. Sundly scored his first goal as a Bear in the 34th minute, nodding in a corner kick by senior forward Davis Paul, and blasted in the eventual gamewinner in the 83rd minute after some nice passing by Paul and senior midfielder Anthony Avalos. Cal awaits Monday's announcement of the NCAA Tournament field of 48 to determine the Bears' next opponent and the day and venue for their next game. ESPNU will broadcast the selections from 1:30-2 p.m. PT today.
