BERKELEY - California senior forward Davis Paul garnered his second Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and earned a spot on the College Soccer News National Team of the Week after scoring a golden goal to knock off No. 11 UCLA, 1-0 in overtime, and tallying an assist in a 1-1 tie with San Diego State. By topping the Bruins in Los Angeles, Cal wrested the Pac-10 lead back from the Bruins by improving its conference record to 5-1-1 (9-2-3 overall).

Paul, from Upland, Calif., scored at the 98:36 mark against UCLA on Oct. 24 in Los Angeles. Two days earlier, he assisted on senior midfielder Servando Carrasco's goal at 9:27 in the match with the Aztecs.

He leads the Bears with career highs in points (20), goals (6), assists (8) and game-winning goals (3).

The 10th-ranked Bears return to Goldman Field at Edwards Stadium for a three-game homestand to close out the regular season. They host Oregon State at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, and Washington at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 before battling rival Stanford at 2 pm. on Nov. 11.
