Cal Whitewashes Titans

FULLERTON, Calif.--The California Golden Bears disrupted the festivities of senior day for Call State Fullerton in a 4-0 whitewashing at the 1997 Titan Classic.

Cal scored its four goal on only nine shots and Doug Brooks had an outstanding match in goal allowing no goals and having six saves.

UC Irvine was the winner of the tournament with a 2-0 record, including a 2-1 voctory over Cal.
