Soares, Bingham Named to TDS Team of the Week November 30, 2010 David Bingham Named to CSN Team of the Week November 29, 2010 Soares, Grimes Claim Top Pac-10 Awards - November 16, 2010 CalBears.com Q&A With David Bingham - September 27, 2010 2009: The starter in his second season, Bingham earned All-Pac-10 second team honors after notching four shutouts: at Georgetown, 2-0 on Sept. 4, in the first game of the year; at San Francisco, 3-0 on Sept. 17; and twice against rival Stanford, 1-0 on Oct. 2 in Berkeley and 1-0 on Nov. 14 at Stanford. 2008: Appeared in one contest against Cornell, making his first collegiate save. High School: Played for the Mustang United club that made it to the Super Y-League Under-17 National Championships in 2007...in 2006 and 2007, he was a USL Super Y-League national team member...a three-year varsity starter at California High School...collected 13 shutouts and a .60 goals-against average his senior year...was a member of the Bay Area's all-area team and a first-team selection to the All-Tri Valley Times team. Personal: Social Welfare major...parents are Greg and Lisa Bingham...his sister, Kim, played soccer with the U.S. women's national team after playing for four years at Arizona State...career goals include playing professionally in Europe...born on Oct. 19, 1989, in Castro Valley, Calif.
