BERKELEY - Russell Webb started four of the Golden Bears' five matches Saturday, Oct. 13, as Cal won the Stanford Invitational Sevens Tournament, scoring a try and connecting on 11 conversion kicks to become Cal's all-time leader in 7s conversions as well as the California Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week. In just three career tourneys to date as a Bear, Webb has 24 conversions and two tries in 10 games played. The freshman also played tenacious defense as the Bears yielded by far the lowest point total vs. the opposition (35) in the tournament, running the table at 5-0 for the day. 2012-13 California Muscle Milk Student-Athletes of the Week
