BERKELEY - Wearing his nation's colors Sunday night in his first full international appearance with the U.S. National Team, California's Colin Hawley scored a try as the Eagles broke a four-game losing streak in test matches with their 31-13 victory over Georgia in the Churchill Cup Bowl Final in Denver, making the returning fifth-year senior the Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week.

Earlier in the week, Hawley was named a USAR All-American for the third time in his collegiate career, putting him on the itinerary for the All-Americans' tour of South Africa in August.

Prior to Sunday's full international test, Hawley previously played for the Eagles last summer against French club side ASM - Clermont Auvergne and earlier this month against the "A" sides England Saxons and Argentina Jaguars.

Hawley was joined on the U.S. team Sunday against Georgia by four other Golden Bears - outgoing senior Chris Biller, Mike MacDonald, Louis Stanfill and Joe Welch. They will get their next chance to represent their country in the USA vs. Canada match July 4 in Charleston, S.C.
