PHILADELPHIA - Following a six-hour interim between pool matches, the Golden Bears came out strong in their second match against Notre Dame Saturday at the Collegiate Rugby Championship 7s, winning 29-0 on live NBC television.

California scored five tries, with a pair from Jake Anderson and two conversions from Brad Harrington, clamping down on defense to shut out the Irish.

The Bears will play Army at 7:03 p.m.ET / 4:03 PT in the final match of the day, after which Sunday's championship bracket will be determined.
