2011: A regular competitor on floor, parallel bars and high bar for the Bears...tied for 11th on parallel bars in the NCAA Qualifiers with a career-high 14.900...set a new career high with 15.200 on floor at the Stanford Open...took second place on high bar in a meet against Iowa with a season-best 14.450.
2010: Regularly competed for the Bears on floor, vault, parallel bars and high bar...had season-highs of 14.600 on floor and 15.600 on vault at the MPSF Championships...set a new career high on parallel bars in the first meet of the season against Stanford with a 14.900 that earned him second place...recorded a season-high 14.350 on high bar against Penn State.
2009: Participated in eight meets for the Bears, including the NCAA Championships...set career highs on the rings (14.050) during the Pacific Coast Classic and parallel bars (14.600) against Ohio State.
2008: Earned his first collegiate event win with a 15.500 on high bar against Ohio State (Feb. 16) to help the Bears win the event and the meet...set a then-career best of 15.500 on vault on March 9 at Stanford...broke his personal best one meet later with a 15.650 on vault in the upset of Penn State (March 15)...had the Cal squad's highest marks on high bar in 2009 on Jan. 26 with a 15.500 at the Stanford Open...had his best performance on floor at the NCAA Championships, finishing with a 15.000.
Personal: Intended business administration major with hopes of working at a major investment banking firm...notes placing sixth at the 2006 U.S. Visa Championships as the highlight of his athletic achievements thus far...has one sister, Claudia...parents are Teresa and Roger Haeussler.
