2011: Was a regular in the lineup who competed in the all-around seven times...an All-American on pommel horse with a score of 14.400, which was good for sixth...took first place in the all-around at the Stanford Open with a score of 89.000, helped by career high scores of 15.700 on the vault and 15.600 on the pommel horse...finished second in the overall with a 88.400 and won the parallel bars in a meet against Oklahoma with a season-high tying score of 15.300...had his best performances on the rings in the NCAA Qualifiers and Championships, recording season-high scores of 14.800 in both meets...tied for sixth at the MPSF Championships on the floor with his top performance of the season earning him a 15.100...notched his highest score of the season on high bar in a meet against Stanford that saw him score a 14.700.

2010: Competed in all but one meet as a true freshman and became a regular in the lineup for pommel horse and rings...competed in the all-around once, notching a 82.650 while setting career highs in vault, parallel bars, and high bar at the Gold Country Classic...in the first meet of his Cal career against Stanford, he tied with teammate Bryan del Castillo for first place on pommel horse...posted a career-high 14.600 on rings in the NCAA Team Championships.

Personal: Member of the U.S. Junior National Team from 2007-09...three-time national champion on pommel horse from 2006-08...runner-up to current Cal sophomore Glen Ishino at the 2007 championships of the U.S. junior division...took second place at Visa Championships in 2008...considering pursuing an engineering degree...has aspirations to make the senior national team and compete in the Olympics...mother is Ellen Cole.
