Tomasulo's two-putt for par on the fourth hole of the playoff was good enough to defeat David Lingmerth for the victory. The event was the first on the newly-named Web.com Tour formerly known as the Nationwide Tour. "This is the first time in a long time that I've felt really healthy," Tomasulo said. "It's a lot of fun being back out here. I miss being out here and playing. This feels great. It's a blast being out here and competing again. I really didn't expect to play well this early." Tomasulo (70-72-65-70 - 277, -11) was one shot ahead of Lingmerth (67-70-72-68 - 277, -11) heading into the tournament's 72nd hole but bogeyed the 18th hole on Sunday after hitting his tee shot in the water. He did hit an eight-foot bogey putt to force the playoff. The 18th hole was also where the fourth and ultimately final playoff hole was contested. The victory was Tomasulo's third career win as a professional. Tomasulo was a two-time All-American and two-time Academic Scholar who played at Cal from 2000-04. He also earned four All-Pac-10 selections while at Cal as well as four selections to the Pac-10 All-Academic squad.
