LA QUINTA, Calif. - Former Cal men's golfer James Hahn tied for fourth in only his fourth career PGA Tour event after shooting a final-round 10-under par 62 that left him a single stroke shy of a trio of players that made a playoff at the 2013 Humana Challenge that concluded Sunday at the Palmer Course at PGA West.

Hahn, who had an eagle on the par-five 18th hole Sunday, finished 24-under-par for the 72-hole event (63-67-72-62 - 264). He had shared the lead after both his first and second rounds before falling to a tie for 20th after with an even-par round on Saturday. His final round of 62 equaled the best in the tournament, while his first-round 63 tied for the best round on opening day.

Former Cal golfer Charlie Wi (72-64-70-71 - 277, -11) also participated in the event and finished in a tie for 76th.

Brian Gay (67-66-67-63 - 263, -25) won the playoff over David Lingmerth (68-64-69-62 - 263, -25) and Charles Howell III (67-65-67-64 - 263, -25). Gay birdied each of the first two playoff holes, knocking off Lingmerth first and then Howell.
