Cal will be the No. 3 seed for the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship to be played Tuesday-Sunday, May 29 - June 3 and hosted by USC at The Riviera Country Club. The seedings for the tournament, as well as pairings and tee times for the first two rounds were announced Monday.

Cal will be going to the NCAA Championship for a third straight season after winning the NCAA Stanford Regional on Saturday. The victory was Cal's first ever NCAA Regional win and sixth in 13 events this season. Cal had three players - Brandon Hagy, Michael Kim and Max Homa - finish in the top 10 to lead the way.

Cal moved into first place at the end of the second round of action Friday at the NCAA Stanford Regional. Michael Kim led the way by shooting a six-under par 64 that made the freshman the second-round leader.
