BERKELEY - With excitement building for the upcoming season under new head coach Sonny Dykes, Cal football fans have the opportunity to secure their seats for the 2013 campaign with the season-ticket renewal period now underway through Jan. 31.

Season-ticket holders from 2012 who want to renew now can click here to login to their Cal Bears account and complete the online application. If preferred, they can also call (800) GO BEARS (462-3277) and press 2 to speak with a customer service representative Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. PT or visit the Athletic Ticket Office inside Haas Pavilion Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The new renewal dates are intended to benefit all season-ticket holders with a new seat-upgrade process, the opportunity to take advantage of year-end tax benefits, if applicable, and receive gifts for renewing early.

The Bears open the 2013 season in Memorial Stadium with consecutive home games against Northwestern Aug. 31, Portland State Sept. 7 and Ohio State Sept. 14. Pac-12 opponents USC, Arizona, Oregon State and Washington State will also pay a visit to Berkeley, and the entire scheduled will be announced by the conference in January.

No Season-Ticket Price Increase
Season-ticket prices will not increase, and those who own tickets in sections F, H, FF, HH will see a modest increase in seat donation.

Select-a-Seat Upgrade Event
For the first time ever, Cal Athletics will hold a Select-a-Seat upgrade event for all season-ticket holders who renew prior to Jan. 31. Once renewed, season-ticket holders will have a chance to RSVP for the event, see available inventory at Memorial Stadium and have the opportunity to upgrade seat locations.

New Alumni Extended to 10-years
Cal graduates 2004-2013 qualify for discounted new alumni season tickets in section QQ, now known as the Cal GOLD program.

Renew by Jan. 14, Get Gifts
All season-ticket holders who renew early by Jan. 14 will receive an exclusive Cal football bobblehead and men's basketball tickets to the USC, Utah or Colorado games in Haas Pavilion.

Become a New Season-Ticket Holder, Get Basketball Tickets
Fans can jump on board and become a new football season-ticket holder for the 2013 by placing a $100 per-seat deposit now by clicking here. The first 200 fans who place deposits will also receive free men's basketball tickets to see Cal host UCLA on Feb. 14 at Haas Pavilion. For details, click here.
