BERKELEY -Lavelle Hawkins of the Tennessee Titans caught his first career touchdown pass, part of his team-high five receptions for 63 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hawkins' teammate Craig Stevens hauled in a 25-yard reception.
The Seattle Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch once again had a successful week, rushing 23 times for 135 yards and a score against the Dallas Cowboys. Lynch's teammate in the backfield, Justin Forsett earned four touches for 22 yards. Brandon Mebane registered three tackles, one of which went for a loss.
The Green Bay Packers remained undefeated thanks once again to the efforts of Aaron Rodgers and Desmond Bishop. Rodgers torched the San Diego Chargers for four touchdowns, completing 21 of 26 passes for 247 yards and he also rushed for 52 yards. Rodgers, last year's Super Bowl MVP, currently leads the league in completion percentage (72.5) and touchdowns (24), while ranking third in passing yards per game (327.4). Bishop garnered 11 tackles and a sack. He currently ranks tied for second in the league in tackles with 76.
On Monday Night Football, Chris Conte of the Chicago Bears racked up a season-best four tackles. Also in that contest, the Philadelphia Eagles' DeSean Jackson caught two passes for 16 yards and Nnamdi Asomugha notched a tackle for loss and almost came down with an interception.
Andre Carter of the New England Patriots posted four tackles three QB Hits against the New York Giants.
The Atlanta Falcons' Tony Gonzalez scored once again, also boasting four catches for 36 yards against the Indianapolis Colts. Gonzalez's teammate, Thomas DeCoud registered three tackles.
Staying on the defensive side of the ball, Scott Fujita of the Cleveland Browns paced his squad with nine tackles, one for a loss, against the Houston Texans. Dante Hughes of the San Diego Chargers earned five tackles against the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland Raiders' Matt Giordano posted three tackles vs. the Denver Broncos.
Lorenzo Alexander of the Washington Redskins and Cameron Jordan of the New Orleans Saints each posted tackles in their games, and Jordan's went for a loss. Jordan also added a QB Hit against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
