(BERKELEY) - The Pac-12 announced two possible scenarios Monday for the starting time and telecast of the 114th Big Game to be played between Cal and Stanford at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 19. The outcome of the Stanford-Oregon game at Stanford Stadium this Saturday, Nov. 12, will determine the starting time and television network for the Stanford-Cal contest.
If Stanford defeats Oregon this Saturday, the Stanford-Cal game will be telecast by ABC and begin at 5:00 p.m. PST, with a guaranteed minimum of 51 percent of U.S. households receiving the telecast.
If Oregon defeats Stanford, the Stanford-Cal game will be telecast by ESPN and begin at 7:15 p.m. PST.
In addition, the commercial radio broadcast of all Cal football games can be heard on the IMG College Sports Radio Network, with KGO 810 AM in San Francisco serving as the flagship station. The KGO broadcast is also available live online at CalBears.com, while KALX 90.7 FM offers fans the student radio broadcast.
In addition to the Big Game and hosting Oregon State in its home finale at AT&T Park this Saturday, Nov. 12 (3:30 p.m. PST), the Bears will wrap up their regular season at Arizona State on Friday, Nov. 25 (8:15 p.m. PST). CSN California will telecast the Oregon State game, while the Bears and Sun Devils will be on ESPN.
After playing the last 88 seasons and every home game at Memorial Stadium since the facility opened for the 1923 Big Game, Cal is hosting its home contests outside of Berkeley in 2011 for the first time since Memorial Stadium opened while the venue undergoes an extensive renovation and retrofit.
