October 27, 2008 BERKELEY - Michael Mohamed finished with nine solo stops, including a sack and two stops for loss, and returned an interception 19 yards for a touchdown in Cal's 41-20 win over UCLA, making the sophomore linebacker the Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week. Mohamed also corralled TB Kahlil Bell for a one-yard loss on 3rd-and-1 from the Cal 4, forcing the Bruins to settle for a field goal late in the second quarter and preserve Cal's lead at the time. Although he doesn't start, Mohamed is second on the team with 45 tackles. For his efforts on Saturday, Mohamed was also named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week.
