Cal's Nov. 5 Oregon Game Selected for ABC TV

BERKELEY - California's Nov. 5 football game at Oregon will start at 12:30 p.m. and be broadcast regionally by ABC television.

With the addition to the ABC lineup, nine of Cal's 11 games are guaranteed to be on live TV this fall. The only remaining game not yet selected is the Nov. 12 home finale vs. USC, and a decision whether to televise that contest will be announced either Monday, Oct. 31 or Sunday, Nov. 6.

The Oregon game marks the fourth time ABC has chosen to show a Golden Bear contest this season. The network aired the Sept. 10 Washington game and the Oct. 15 Oregon State match-up and is scheduled to show the Big Game at Stanford Nov. 19.
