BERKELEY - Here's an updated look at what's going on with each of the 32 former Cal players currently on NFL rosters. The Golden Bears rank second among all Pac-12 schools with the 32 players on NFL rosters and were tied for ninth nationally with 25 players on active 53-player rosters at the beginning of the season.

Former Cal player Marshawn Lynch has been one of the biggest stories in the NFL in 2012 as the league's rushing leader, while other highlights by former Bears include Bryan Anger ranking second in the league in punting, and Thomas DeCoud tied for second in interceptions. Also, the trio of DeCoud and Tony Gonzalez (Atlanta) and Justin Forsett (Houston) are on unbeaten through four weeks.

In addition, Week 4 brought the first catch of his NFL career for Marvin Jones and the signing of three former players - Andre Carter (Oakland), Nick Harris (Detroit) and Mike Mohamed (Denver) - to NFL contracts.

The 2012 NFL season will close out its fourth week when Chicago visits Dallas on Monday Night Football, with former Bears Chris Conte (Chicago) and L.P. Ladouceur (Dallas) scheduled to play in the contest.

• Lorenzo Alexander, LB, Washington Redskins (2-2) - Has played in all four of the team's games off the bench, contributing six tackles

• Tyson Alualu, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars (1-3) - Has 15 tackles and 1.0 sack while starting each of the team's first four games, totaling a season-high six stops in a Week 2 loss to Houston, as well as four and 1.0 sack in a Week 1 loss at Minnesota

• Bryan Anger, P, Jacksonville Jaguars (1-3) - Second in the NFL with a 52.0 yard per punt average, punting 25 times for a NFL-high 1,300 yards ... has pinned opponents inside their own 20-yardline five times and forced five fair catches ... has had one punt of 60 or more yards in each of his last three games, including a career-long 66-yarder in a Week 3 win at Indianapolis

• Nnamdi Asomugha, CB, Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) - Has seven tackles and four passes defended in four games played and starts, with three passes defended in a Week 1 win at Cleveland

• Jahvid Best, RB, Detroit Lions (1-3) - Has not played in the team's first four games ... started the season on the physically unable to participate (PUP) list but expected to return to the field when he's eligible to be removed after the first six weeks of the season

• Desmond Bishop, LB, Green Bay Packers (2-2) - Has not played in the team's first four games and is on the injured reserve list

• D.J. Campbell, S, Carolina Panthers (1-3) - Has not played in the team's first four games

• Andre Carter, DE, Oakland Raiders (1-3) - Signed prior to the team's Week 4 game loss at Denver but did not play in his first contest on the roster ... returning from an injury that ended a strong 2011 season with New England after 14 games (52 tackles, 10.0 sacks, one pass defended, two forced fumbles) ... has career totals of 494 tackles, 76.0 sacks and 17 forced fumbles in his 12th NFL season during a career that has seen him with San Francisco (2001-05), Washington (2006-10), New England (2011) and Oakland (2012)

• Chris Conte, S, Chicago Bears (2-1) - Has 11 tackles, one interception that he returned for 35 yards and two passes defended while starting each of the team's first three games ... posted his interception against Indianapolis and former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck in the season opener ... will play in a Week 4 Monday Night Football contest at Dallas

• Brian De La Puente, OG, New Orleans Saints (0-4) - Has started all four games

• Thomas DeCoud, S, Atlanta Falcons (4-0) - Has started all four games and posted 19 tackles, four passes defended and three interceptions (tied for second in NFL) that he has returned 13 yards on the season for one of three remaining NFL unbeaten teams ... had a huge game in a Week 3 win at San Diego with two interceptions and a fumble recovery ... had an interception that he returned 15 yards in Week 2 win vs. Denver ... posted a season-high seven tackles in a Week 1 win at Kansas City

• Justin Forsett, RB, Houston Texans (4-0) - Has played in all four games off the bench for one of three remaining unbeaten teams in the NFL, rushing six times for 35 yards all in a Week 2 win at Jacksonville

• Scott Fujita, LB, Cleveland Browns (0-4) - Has played in three games with two starts, contributing 10 tackles and 1.0 sack, including a season-high six stops and his first sack of the season in a Week 4 loss at Baltimore

• Matt Giordano, S, Oakland Raiders (1-3) - Has 16 tackles with 15 coming in his first two starts of the season over the last two games, with a season-high eight in a Week 4 loss at Denver and seven in a Week 3 win over Pittsburgh

• Tony Gonzalez, TE, Atlanta Falcons (4-0) - Has started all four games for one of the three remaining unbeaten teams in the NFL, posting 26 receptions (6th NFL) for 265 yards and three touchdown catches (T3rd NFL) ... had season highs of nine catches and 91 receiving yards with a touchdown reception for the third consecutive game during a Week 3 win at San Diego ... has career totals of 1,175 receptions for 13,603 yards and 98 touchdowns in 242 games, having only missed three contests in his 16th NFL campaign

• Nick Harris, Detroit Lions (1-3) - Signed prior to a Week 4 loss vs. Minnesota and punted five times for a 39.6 yard average with four punts inside the 20-yardline in his first game of the season against the Vikings ... in his 12th NFL season, including a previous eight-season stint with the Lions (2003-10) as well as two-plus campaigns with Cincinnati (2001-03) to begin his career as well as one with Jacksonville in 2011

• Lavelle Hawkins, WR, Tennessee Titans (1-3) - Has three catches for 13 yards, playing in three of the team's first four games off the bench

• DeSean Jackson, WR, Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) - Has 20 catches for 333 yards (9th NFL) and an average of 16.7 yards per catch, including season bests of seven receptions for 114 yards in a Week 2 win vs. Baltimore ... added six catches for 99 yards and a touchdown on a 19-yard reception from Michael Vick in a Week 4 win vs. the New York Giants

• Marvin Jones, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (3-1) - Made his first NFL catch for five yards in a Week 4 win at Jacksonville that extended the Bengals' win streak to three in a row ... has played in three of four games off the bench

• Cameron Jordan, DE, New Orleans Saints (0-4) - Has 23 tackles and 1.0 sack in four games played (all starts), including a career-high and game-high 11 stops in a Week 1 loss to Washington

• Mychal Kendricks, LB, Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) - Has started each of the first four games and compiled 18 tackles and two passes defended, with a career best six tackles in a Week 3 loss at Arizona and both passes defended in a Week 2 win against Baltimore

• L.P. Ladouceur, LS, Dallas Cowboys (2-1) - Has played in all three games off the bench but not recorded any stats ... has not missed a game since 2005, playing in all 99 regular-season games in the last seven campaigns ... will play in a Week 4 Monday Night Football home contest vs. Chicago

• Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seattle Seahawks (2-2) - Leads the NFL in rushing with 423 yards on the ground and has scored two rushing touchdowns in 92 carries over the first four games (all starts) ... has a pair of 100-yard rushing games, with 26 carries for 122 yards in a Week 2 win over Dallas and 118 yards on 20 rushing attempts in a Week 4 loss at St. Louis, adding season bests of four receptions and 37 receiving yards against the Rams ... also had 25 rushes for 98 yards in a Week 3 win vs. Green Bay and 21 for 85 yards in a Week 1 loss at Arizona ... has at least 20 rushes and 85 rushing yards in each of his first four games, and is one of only two players in the NFL averaging more than 100 yards rushing per game with an average of 105.8

• Alex Mack, C, Cleveland Browns (0-4) - Started his 52nd consecutive regular-season NFL game (all 52 games possible since beginning his NFL career in 2009) and fourth game of the season in a Week 4 loss at Baltimore

• Mike Mohamed, LB, Denver Broncos (2-2) - Signed prior to a Week 4 win vs. Oakland and played in his first game of the season off the bench against the Raiders but did not record any stats other than participation

• Brandon Mebane, DT, Seattle Seahawks (2-2) - Has 15 tackles, 2.0 sacks and two passes defended while starting all four contests, with a season-high five of the tackles coming in a Week 4 loss at St. Louis and both of his sacks in a Week 3 win over Green Bay

• Cameron Morrah, TE, Seattle Seahawks (2-2) - Has not played in the team's first four games and is on the injured reserve list

• Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers (2-2) - Leads the NFL in completion percentage (69.9%), while ranking among the league's leaders in completions (109, 3rd), touchdown passes (7, T7th), passing yardage (1064, 10th) and quarterback rating (95.7, 13th) after his first four games (all starts) ... has seven touchdowns and two interceptions, with a season-high four of the touchdown passes coming in a Week 4 win vs. New Orleans in which he completed 31-of-41 passes (75.6 completion percentage, 119.9 quarterback rating) for 319 yards - all season highs ... completed 26-of-39 passes for 223 yards in a Week 3 loss at Seattle ... completed 22-of-32 passes for 219 yards, with a touchdown and an interception in a Week 2 win over Chicago, after going 30-of-44 for 303 yards, with two TD's and one interception in a Week 1 loss to San Francisco ... has added 15 rushes for 51 yards

• Mitchell Schwartz, OL, Cleveland Browns (0-4) - Has started each of the first four games of his NFL career

• Craig Stevens, TE, Tennessee Titans (1-3) - Has nine receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown in the team's first four games (all starts), including his first touchdown catch of the season and fourth of his career in a Week 4 loss at Houston ... also had season highs of five catches for 63 yards in a wild 44-41 overtime Week 3 win vs. Detroit and a season-long 46-yarder at San Diego in Week 2

• Nick Sundberg, LS, Washington Redskins (2-2) - Played in a Week 1 victory at New Orleans off the bench but has since been placed on injured reserve

• Shane Vereen, RB, New England Patriots (2-2) - Played for the first time this season in a Week 4 win at Buffalo, catching one pass for five yards and rushing one time for no gain
