BERKELEY - After nearly two complete weeks of NFL action which wraps up with the Monday Night Football game between Atlanta and Denver tonight, here's a look at what's going on with the 29 former Cal players currently on NFL rosters. The Golden Bears rank second among all Pac-12 schools with the 29 players on NFL rosters and are tied for ninth with 25 of those 29 on active 53-player rosters (four are on injured reserve or physically unable to perform lists).

Among the early season highlights are the performances of Jacksonville punter Bryan Anger and Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch. Anger leads the NFL in punting after two weeks, while Lynch leads the NFC and ranks third in the NFL in rushing yardage.

• Lorenzo Alexander, LB, Washington Redskins (1-1) - Has played in both of the team's games and contributed three tackles, all in a Week 2 loss at St. Louis after making no tackles but playing in a Week 1 victory at New Orleans

• Tyson Alualu, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) - Has 10 tackles and 1.0 sack in the first two games, with a season-high six in a Week 2 loss to Houston and four as well as the sack in a Week 1 loss at Minnesota

• Bryan Anger, P, Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) - Leads the NFL in punting after two games with a 52.6 yard average, punting 13 times for 684 yards with single-game averages of 52.2 yards per punt on nine punts in a Week 2 loss vs. Houston and 53.5 on four attempts in a Week 1 loss at Minnesota ... also had a career-long 60-yarder against the Texans

• Nnamdi Asomugha, CB, Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) - Has two tackles and three passes defended for a Philadelphia team that is 2-0 for the first time since its 2004 Super Bowl season, with a tackle and all three passes defended coming in a Week 1 win at Cleveland and another tackle in a Week 2 triumph over Baltimore

• Jahvid Best, RB, Detroit Lions (1-1) - Has not played in a Week 2 loss at San Francisco or a Week 1 win over St. Louis ... started the season on the physically unable to participate (PUP) list but expected to return to the field when he's eligible to be removed from the list after the first six weeks of the season

• Desmond Bishop, LB, Green Bay Packers (1-1) - On the injured reserve list and did not play in a Week 2 win over Chicago or a Week 1 loss to San Francisco

• D.J. Campbell, S, Carolina Panthers (1-1) - Has not played in a Week 2 win over New Orleans or a Week 1 loss at Tampa Bay

• Chris Conte, S, Chicago Bears (1-1) - Has a combined eight tackles, one interception and two passes defended in a Week 2 loss to Green Bay and a Week 1 victory over Indianapolis, with an interception against the Colts and former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck that he returned for 35 yards

• Brian De La Puente, OG, New Orleans Saints (0-2) - Has started both games in a Week 2 loss at Carolina and a Week 1 loss to Washington

• Thomas DeCoud, S, Atlanta Falcons (1-0) - Posted seven tackles in a Week 1 win at Kansas City and will play Denver at home in a Week 2 game on Monday Night Football

• Justin Forsett, RB, Houston Texans (2-0) - Rushed six times for 35 yards in a Week 2 win at Jacksonville after not recording any stats but playing in a Week 1 victory against Miami

• Scott Fujita, LB, Cleveland Browns (0-2) - Made his season debut with four tackles in a starting role during a Week 2 loss at Cincinnati after not playing in a Week 1 loss to Philadelphia when he was on the NFL's exempt list

• Matt Giordano, S, Oakland Raiders (0-2) - Has played in both a Week 2 loss at Miami and a Week 1 loss to San Diego, recording one tackle against the Chargers

• Tony Gonzalez, TE, Atlanta Falcons (1-0) - Hauled in five catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 victory at Kansas City in the first game of his 16th NFL campaign and will play Denver at home in a Week 2 game on Monday Night Football

• Lavelle Hawkins, WR, Tennessee Titans (0-2) - Has two catches for eight yards in the team's first two games, a Week 2 loss at San Diego and a Week 1 loss vs. New England, with all of his stats coming against the Patriots

• DeSean Jackson, WR, Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) - Has 11 catches for 191 yards (eighth in the NFL in receiving yards) for a Philadelphia team that is 2-0 for the first time since its 2004 Super Bowl season, posting seven catches for 114 yards in a Week 2 win vs. Baltimore after making four catches for 77 yards and rushing one time for five yards in a Week 1 victory at Cleveland

• Marvin Jones, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) - Has played in both games but not recorded a stat in either a Week 2 win vs. Cleveland or a Week 1 loss at Baltimore

• Cameron Jordan, DE, New Orleans Saints (0-2) - Has a combined 15 tackles in the first two games, picking up four in a Week 2 loss at Carolina after a career-high and game-high 11 in a Week 1 loss to Washington

• Mychal Kendricks, LB, Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) - Has started both games and has a combined 10 tackles and two passes defended for a Philadelphia team that is 2-0 for the first time since its 2004 Super Bowl season, picking up five tackles both in a Week 2 win vs. Baltimore and a Week 1 victory at Cleveland, adding the two passes defended against the Ravens

• L.P. Ladouceur, LS, Dallas Cowboys (1-1) - Has played in both games off the bench but not recorded any stats in a Week 2 loss at Seattle or a Week 1 win at the New York Giants

• Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seattle Seahawks (1-1) - Has rushed for 207 yards and one touchdown on 47 carries in two games to lead the NFC and rank third in the NFL in rushing yards, carrying the ball 26 times for 122 yards in a Week 2 win over Dallas with 104 of those yards in the second half, and 21 times for 85 yards with two receptions for 12 yards in a Week 1 loss at Arizona

• Alex Mack, C, Cleveland Browns (0-2) - Started his 50th consecutive regular season NFL game (all 50 games possible since beginning his NFL career in 2009) in a Week 2 loss at Cincinnati ... has started both games this season

• Brandon Mebane, DT, Seattle Seahawks (1-1) - Has a combined six tackles, two passes defended and a fumble recovery in two games and two starts, with all the stats other than two of the tackles that came in a Week 2 win over Dallas occuring in a Week 1 loss at Arizona

• Cameron Morrah, TE, Seattle Seahawks (1-1) - On the injured reserve list and has not played either in a Week 2 win over Dallas or a Week 1 loss at Arizona

• Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers (1-1) - Ranks among NFL leaders in completions (52, T2nd), completion percentage (68.4, 52-76, 7th), passing yardage (522, 8th) and quarterback rating (89.9, 10th) ... has three touchdowns and two interceptions ... completed 22-of-32 passes for 219 yards, with a touchdown and an interception in a Week 2 win over Chicago, after going 30-of-44 for 303 yards, with two TD's and one interception in a Week 1 loss to San Francisco (30-44-303, 2 TD, 1 INT), while adding a combined 21 yards rushing on eight carries including six rushes for 27 yards against the 49ers

• Mitchell Schwartz, OL, Cleveland Browns (0-2) - Has started both of the first two games of his NFL career in a Week 2 loss at Cincinnati and a Week 1 loss to Philadelphia

• Craig Stevens, TE, Tennessee Titans (0-2) - Has a combined two receptions for 51 yards in the team's first two games, a Week 2 loss at San Diego and a Week 1 loss vs. New England, catching a season-long 46-yarder on the road against the Chargers and a five-yarder vs. the Patriots

• Nick Sundberg, LS, Washington Redskins (1-1) - Played in a Week 1 victory at New Orleans but has since been placed on injured reserve

• Shane Vereen, RB, New England Patriots (1-1) - Has not played in either a Week 2 loss to Arizona or a Week 1 win at Tennessee
